Rome's Gardens and a Gorgeous Book Giveaway
Dear listeners and travel lovers,
Fall is officially here, the days are shorter, there’s a perceptible nip in the air, and even in Rome (at least today) the sun has disappeared behind a blanket of gray and the weather is dull, drizzly, and dismal. So what better time to cheer ourselves with the promise of spring, frolicking in an Italian garden?
Way back in May, we recorded an episode on Rome’s glorious gardens, while we were sitting in one, Rome’s Municipal Rose Garden to be exact. That episode aired in August as part of our Summer in Rome series.
Since then, we’ve had so many requests for details about these amazing gardens, that we have put together a list of the names, locations, and other pertinent information so that you can experience these intoxicating sites for yourself one day.
But first! This fall we are giving away a brand-new copy of one of the most beautiful collectors’ books you can find, Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice from the widely coveted Penguin Clothbound Classics Collection. We have both added a little dedication in the front, and Tiffany has even underlined (in pencil, of course) her very favorite line! (This giveaway was initially meant to be on just in September, but because we failed to publicize it enough 🤦🏼♀️ we’ve decided to extend it until the end of October!) Donate a minimum of $5 to the show by 31 October 2022 and your name will be thrown into a hat for random selection. You can make a one-time (or recurring) donation via PayPal, or join us on Patreon, where we offer bonus episodes every other week, regular virtual meet-ups, live episode tapings, and other exclusive content!
